Baptist Center
One of the ministries of
Chilhowee Baptist Association is the food pantry and clothing center located at the Baptist Center. We serve at the center by stocking food in the pantry and by sorting and displaying clothing and household items for distribution. We also have the opportunity to interact with the clients who receive a devotion and an encouraging word. What better way to show the love of Christ. We also volunteer to serve the arts & crafts vendors during the Foothills Fall Festival in October.
Three or four weeks this year we will be helping homeless and low-income families regain the dignity and independence they deserve. We open our doors and our hearts as we serve in the name of Christ.
We have a group of youth and adults who will be serving a week in June. This is a service ministry that reaches out to the Appalachian people in Southeast Kentucky.
Brazil Missions

For several years now our church has been given the opportunity to send volunteers to the area of Sao Paulo, Brazil to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. David McClanahan is the team leader and plans are being made now for a July trip.
